Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is recommended
- Prior experience in a cook or culinary-related role
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Food safety certification if applicable
- Basic math skills
- Good communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Prior participation as a cook or in a related culinary job
- Deep understanding of food preparation principles and diverse cooking methods
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines
- Acquisition of the pertinent food safety certification, if not obtained
- Primary abilities in mathematical operations and counting

Job Duties
- Cook and prepare meals as per standardized recipes and guidelines for production

- Learn the proper handling of a variety of kitchen tools and appliances, such as knives, ovens, stoves, and mixers, for their safe use
- Utilize a range of methods such as baking, broiling, roasting, and steaming to prepare and cook meals
- Present and distribute meals according to specific standards for their appearance and quantity
- Adhere to the prescribed food safety procedures and store food items adequately
- Clean and sterilize kitchen compartments, tools, and utensils to uphold sanitation standards
- Deliver exceptional service to customers while maintaining a positive attitude
- Observe and uphold Aramark's safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain the confidentiality of organizational assets
