The club offers an employment opportunity for a professional Pantry Cook, a vital position within the kitchen brigade responsible for preparing and setting up food stations as per the chef's directives. This role is integral in supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with their daily tasks to ensure seamless kitchen operations. The Pantry Cook is essential for maintaining the flow of food preparation, focusing on quality, presentation, and timely service. This position requires a dedicated individual who can assist in plating, food preparation, ingredient handling, and kitchen organization while upholding the highest sanitation and safety standards. It involves working with large volume cooking equipment and coordinating closely with servers to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines. Job Requirements

basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
able to carry up to 50 lbs
flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays

Job Qualifications

ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required

Job Duties

assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and plating salads, main dishes, desserts and appetizers
assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, kitchen equipment, walk-in coolers and freezers, and all storage areas
plating prepared foods based on Executive Sous Chef's guidance
working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
operating large volume cooking equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills, deep fat fryers, and/or griddles
label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
verifying that prepared food meets requirements for quality, presentation, and quantity
perform other kitchen duties as assigned
