As a Pantry Cook at California Pizza Kitchen, your role is instrumental in delivering the quality and freshness that define the brand. You will be responsible for preparing refreshing salads and delectable desserts while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in the Pantry station. This position requires a blend of culinary skills, attention to detail, and a passion for service. You'll support the line check process, complete prep par sheets, and ensure that the station operates efficiently by opening, closing, and performing side work duties during each shift.
The job demands strict adherence to proper food handling techniques, including the safe and sanitary use of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and kitchen equipment. Maintaining proper food and equipment temperatures is crucial to uphold quality standards. Job Duties
- maintain the highest standards for food quality, sanitation, and maintenance in the pantry station
- assure timely preparation of all salads and desserts
- support the line check process

- practice and teach safe and sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment
- maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening, closing and side work duties each shift
