Job Description

We are a franchise group operating nine Ruth's Chris Steak House locations across North Carolina, Maryland, and New Jersey. Ruth's Chris Steak House is a renowned upscale restaurant chain known for its premium quality steaks, exceptional dining experience, and commitment to outstanding guest service. Our franchise group shares this mission, striving to create memorable experiences for every guest through exceptional food quality, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We take pride in maintaining the high standards Ruth's Chris is famous for, focusing on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.

We are currently seeking dedicated and professional team members for all Back of House (BOH) positions. These roles are crucial in supporting the kitchen's efficient operation and ensuring that our guests receive meals crafted to the highest standards. BOH team members will be expected to adhere strictly to the company’s policies regarding cleanliness, uniform, safety, and food sanitation. The successful candidates will play an essential role in preparing food products according to Ruth's Chris recipe standards, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring proper station management during shifts.

This full-time and part-time opportunity offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are critical. The BOH positions include station assignments issued at the beginning of each shift, requiring employees to perform opening and closing duties as directed by the Manager on Duty or Chef. Individuals in these roles must have excellent communication skills and work cooperatively with front of house staff and other kitchen team members to guarantee a seamless guest experience.

A key part of the role is maintaining food quality and presentation as per Ruth's Chris protocols, which means proper seasoning, cooking, and plating of food items. Additionally, the position demands strict adherence to safety guidelines; employees must promptly report any unsafe conditions, acts, injuries, or accidents to their supervisors. Working nights, weekends, and holidays will be a requirement, reflecting the hospitality industry's nature. This role offers an exciting chance for culinary professionals or those looking to advance their careers in the restaurant industry by joining a reputable and growing franchise group dedicated to service excellence.
