They are seeking a Pantry Assistant on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week, with starting pay of $16.00 per hour. The role of Pantry Assistant is vital in supporting the pantry program, ensuring that the mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out. Responsibilities will center around assisting with all activities related to the pantry program, including welcoming clients, mediating their needs, providing accurate referrals about Salvation Army and community-wide programs, and supporting other activities and programs within the Family Resource Center.

In addition to program support, the Pantry Assistant will be expected to attend meetings, workshops, or seminars related to pantry issues as required to stay informed and enhance their ability to serve clients. Key interpersonal skills such as compassion, resilience, and dependability are essential for fulfilling the role given the nature of engagement with vulnerable populations.
