Job Description

Flynn Group entered the Panera system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafes. Since then, the company has experienced remarkable growth, more than tripling in size to become the second largest Panera franchisee in the world. Flynn Panera continues to expand its footprint by building new stores and acquiring other franchise operators, demonstrating a strong commitment to growth and operational excellence. Flynn Panera operates as a franchisee of Panera Bread, which is known for its upscale and friendly cafes offering freshly baked breads, pastries, made-to-order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. Known for its artisan quality and a grease and alcohol-free environment, Flynn Panera prioritizes a safe, welcoming atmosphere for both its guests and associates.

Flynn Panera functions under a decentralized business model, with each geographic area led by a Market Leader (ML). Reporting directly to the ML are Area Directors who oversee multiple units and are responsible for the overall functions of cafes within their territories. Below Area Directors are the General Managers who are entrusted with managing individual cafes and ensuring smooth daily operations. Assistant Managers support the General Managers by supervising their departments and handling everyday management tasks. Additionally, Team Managers help round out the cafe leadership, ensuring that team members work cohesively to deliver excellent guest experiences.

The leadership team at Flynn Panera brings over 190 years of combined restaurant industry experience, including 60 plus years within the Flynn Group, further solidifying the brand's expertise and stability in the market. As one of the seven premier brands of Flynn Group, which was founded in 1999 by Greg Flynn, Flynn Panera benefits from being part of the largest franchise operator in the world. The Flynn Group manages a diverse portfolio of iconic brands including Applebee's, Arby's, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. The company’s mission focuses on being the premier operator within each of these brands by adhering to core values: care genuinely for people, play like a champion, and win as one.

The role of a Retail Team Member at Flynn Panera is pivotal in maintaining the high standards the company is known for. These cafes pride themselves on providing a pleasant, high-quality dining experience served in a friendly, fast, and accurate manner. This position involves directly engaging with guests, listening to their needs, and delivering services with a warm smile and enthusiasm. The environment excludes fryers and late-night hours, which means a healthier, daytime-focused work setting. Retail Team Members contribute significantly to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the team in daily operations.

The company offers competitive pay starting at $12.00 per hour along with several benefits such as meal discounts, health and dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, a daily pay program, career growth opportunities, and flexible scheduling. Flynn Panera is committed to hiring exceptional individuals who are strong team players dedicated to guest service and fostering a positive workplace culture. Employees benefit from a supportive training environment, growth potential, and the stability provided by a reputable franchise organization. Flynn Panera also emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and accommodation for individuals with disabilities throughout the employment process, reflecting its welcoming and equitable work ethos.
