Job Description

Flynn Panera is a prominent franchisee of Panera Bread, one of the largest and most popular bakery-cafe chains in the United States. Since entering the Panera system in 2015 through the acquisition of 47 cafes, Flynn Group has significantly expanded its presence, becoming the second largest Panera franchisee in the world. With continuous growth through opening new stores and acquiring other franchise operators, Flynn Panera operates on a decentralized business model, ensuring each geographic area is managed by experienced Market Leaders. Area Directors oversee multiple locations, with General Managers managing individual cafes and supporting Assistant Managers and Team Managers rounding out the leadership structure. The company's rich heritage spans over two decades, founded in 1999 by Greg Flynn, and now includes a diverse portfolio of world-renowned restaurant brands like Applebee's, Arby's, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. Flynn Group's mission is to be the premier operator within each brand by fostering core values centered on genuine care for people, competition with integrity, and unified success.

The General Manager role at Flynn Panera is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a bustling cafe. This full-time role offers a competitive starting salary of $83,200 per year plus monthly profit sharing. As a General Manager, you will lead a team of up to 60 staff members, ensuring top-quality customer service, smooth operational flow, and adherence to company standards on food quality, cleanliness, health safety, and facility maintenance. You play a critical role in creating a welcoming environment for guests by fostering teamwork, coaching employees, and resolving any issues promptly. This position requires a passionate and steady management professional with at least 3 years of food and beverage management experience. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and strategic planning within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Working at Flynn Panera gives you the opportunity to be part of a thriving brand that values fresh food and exceptional customer experiences. You will be instrumental in helping the company continue its exponential growth across the country, connecting with local communities, and gaining valuable experience for further career advancement within the expansive Flynn Group family. Responsibilities extend beyond daily cafe management to include budgeting and profit and loss oversight, recruiting and developing team members, maintaining high operational standards, and cultivating a positive work culture aligned with Flynn Panera's values. The job involves physical activity such as mobility throughout shifts and safely lifting up to 50 pounds, emphasizing the need for physical stamina and safety awareness.

Beyond competitive compensation, Flynn Panera offers its employees a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company matching, paid vacation and training, flexible schedules, and employee discounts. The company also actively promotes diversity and inclusion, providing reasonable accommodations during the hiring process and employment. With a supportive environment committed to personal and professional growth, Flynn Panera seeks motivated leaders ready to contribute to its continued success and uphold its mission of delivering fresh, high-quality food with warmth and excellence.
