Flynn Group is a highly respected multi-brand franchise operator established in 1999 by Greg Flynn. Flynn Panera operates with a decentralized business model where geographic areas are managed by Market Leaders. Area Directors manage multiple units within their respective regions, who in turn supervise General Managers responsible for individual cafes. The General Managers are supported by Assistant Managers and Team Managers, who assist in day-to-day operations. The General Manager role at Flynn Panera is a key leadership position responsible for managing a high-performing team of up to 60 staff members per cafe. This role is ideal for restaurant professionals passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, coaching team members, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining clean and sanitary facilities. The General Manager ensures efficient and profitable operations while creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests. This full-time position offers a competitive salary with potential earnings up to $66,000 per year along with excellent benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, meal discounts, profit sharing (where applicable), and development opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years restaurant management experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management is preferred
  • Serve Safe Food Certification a plus
  • Must have the "Run it Like you Own It Mentality"
  • Mobility required during the entire shift, up to 10 hours
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to safely bend, reach, carry, and stoop
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout a shift

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates sustainable long-term success and the ability to maintain a profitable business
  • Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit on customer feedback reports
  • Directs overall activities and performance of employees on a shift-by-shift basis
  • Creates an Employer of Choice environment by encouraging a culture in accordance with Flynn Panera values and beliefs
  • Ensures the immediate response and rectifying of all guest complaints
  • Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits established Flynn Panera standards
  • Maintains adequate inventory levels and adjusts par levels as needed
