Job Description
Flynn Group is a prominent franchise operator within the food service industry, having established a strong presence since its inception in 1999 by founder Greg Flynn. Renowned for its diversified portfolio, Flynn Group operates a variety of iconic and world-class brands including Applebee's, Arby's, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. The Group is the largest franchise operator in the world and continually aims to be the premier operator within each brand it represents. Among these brands, Flynn Panera stands out as the 2nd largest Panera Bread franchisee globally, having significantly expanded since acquiring 47 cafes in 2015 to now operate a large number of locations through both store openings and strategic acquisitions of other franchise operators. Operating under a decentralized business model, Flynn Panera empowers local leadership teams, with Market Leaders overseeing geographic regions, Area Directors managing multiple cafes, and General Managers leading individual cafe operations. Assistant Managers and Team Managers support the day-to-day running of the cafes, ensuring a smooth and customer-focused operation.
The role of Manager at Flynn Panera is a key leadership position entrusted with maintaining the high standards for which Panera Bread cafes are known. Flynn Panera emphasizes an upscale, friendly cafe atmosphere that offers freshly baked breads, made-to-order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages, all within a clean, grease-free, and alcohol-free environment. The managerial position involves supervising a sizable team of up to 75 staff members, overseeing all aspects of cafe operation, and ensuring top-quality service delivery that leaves a lasting positive impression on customers.
As a Manager, you will take on the pivotal responsibility of leading by example, motivating your team to excel in a fast-paced and high-demand restaurant environment. Your role extends beyond typical supervision to include inspiring and coaching associates, managing financial performance, and safeguarding food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards. Flynn Panera seeks professionals who demonstrate passion for the hospitality industry, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a stable employment history in restaurant management. The position offers a great opportunity to join a company focused on growth and operational excellence, with competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and career development prospects. Flynn Panera prides itself on a culture of genuine care, team spirit, and shared success, aligned with its core values of Caring Genuinely for People, Playing Like a Champion, and Winning as One.
