Job Requirements

  • Must have 2-3 years of hospitality management experience
  • a degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management preferred
  • food management certifications beneficial
  • must demonstrate leadership and coaching abilities
  • ability to manage multiple operational aspects including budgeting and staffing
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work morning, evening, and day shifts
  • must be able to stand and move for up to 10 hours
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • must read and write for communication purposes
  • possess finger and hand dexterity for tool use

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of hospitality management experience
  • degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management preferred
  • food management certifications a plus
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to coach and mentor staff effectively
  • experience managing budgets and analyzing sales data
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • commitment to company values and culture

Job Duties

  • Provide outstanding leadership to the team
  • inspire, coach, counsel, and mentor associates
  • maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety
  • manage overall business performance including ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, facilities, bakery operations, and catering
  • analyze and plan sales levels and profitability
  • create and execute plans for sustained profitability
  • act as the primary conduit between associates and management
  • retain and develop team members and managers
  • manage budgets and control costs
  • coordinate restaurant operations during scheduled shifts
  • engage with customers through greetings and table visits
  • inspire associates to enjoy their work while maintaining high productivity
  • anticipate and resolve operational issues
  • serve as primary resource for associate questions
  • recruit and train staff to meet staffing needs
  • ensure compliance with company guidelines, cultural values and ethical business practices
  • embody company values and professional image
