Job Description

Flynn Group entered the Panera system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafes and has since grown significantly to become the second largest Panera franchisee globally. Flynn Panera operates as a franchisee of Panera Bread and has embraced a decentralized business model that empowers geographic regions through Market Leaders. These leaders oversee Area Directors who are multiple unit operators managing the overall functions of various cafes in their regions. General Managers, reporting to Area Directors, handle the daily operations of individual cafes, aided by Assistant Managers and Team Managers who support departmental functions and everyday management responsibilities. Flynn Panera is part of Flynn Group, a well-established organization founded in 1999 by Greg Flynn that operates a diversified portfolio of renowned restaurant brands such as Applebee's, Arby's, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. Flynn Group aims to be the premier operator for each brand by focusing on its core values: genuinely caring for people, playing like a champion, and winning as one.

The role of a Manager at Flynn Panera represents a critical leadership position within our upscale, friendly Panera Bread cafes, which are known for their artisan breads, baked goods, made-to-order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. These cafes maintain a grease-free and alcohol-free environment with no fryers and no late-night shifts, creating a welcoming workplace culture especially suited for morning people. As a Manager, you will lead a team of up to 75 staff members, ensuring each guest receives outstanding service in a clean, safe, and quality-focused environment. Your responsibilities will include providing inspirational leadership, coaching and counseling staff, managing profitability, maintaining operational standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. We seek passionate restaurant professionals dedicated to excellence, with a stable employment history, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. This is an exceptional opportunity for candidates aspiring to grow within a fast-paced yet rewarding restaurant management role in a rapidly expanding concept. Compensation for this full-time position ranges from $50,000 to $57,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to competitive wages and employee satisfaction.
