Job Description

Flynn Group, a leading name in the restaurant franchise industry, entered the Panera Bread system in 2015 by acquiring 47 cafes. Since that time, Flynn Group has experienced remarkable growth, more than tripling in size to become the second largest Panera franchisee worldwide. This expansion continues steadily through building new stores and acquiring other franchise operators, illustrating the company’s strong position and ambitious future in the competitive food and beverage market. Flynn Panera operates within a decentralized business model where geographic areas are overseen by Market Leaders. Under these leaders, Area Directors are responsible for multiple units, managing the overall functions of the cafe locations within their territory. General Managers run individual cafe operations, supported by Assistant Managers and Team Managers who assist with departmental and everyday management responsibilities. The leadership team boasts extensive industry experience, with over 190 years combined in restaurant operations, and more than 60 years with Flynn Group alone. Established in 1999 by Greg Flynn, the Flynn Group has grown to become the largest franchise operator in the world, managing a diverse portfolio of world-famous brands in various dining and fitness sectors, including Applebee’s, Arby’s, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, and Planet Fitness. The company's core mission is to be the premier operator within each brand by upholding its core values: Care Genuinely for People, Play like a Champion, and Win as One.

Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, welcoming environments specializing in artisan baked breads and pastries, alongside made-to-order soups, salads, and sandwiches with specialty espresso beverages. Notably, our cafes do not use fryers or serve alcohol, creating a clean, grease-free atmosphere ideal for morning and daytime operations. As a Manager at Panera Bread, you will play a critical role in leading a team of up to 75 associates to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food quality. Your leadership will be pivotal in inspiring, coaching, and managing your team while ensuring a profitable and smoothly operating cafe. We seek passionate, experienced restaurant professionals with a stable employment history and strong interpersonal skills who are dedicated to upholding our quality standards and delivering a warm, welcoming guest experience. This role offers a competitive hourly wage, profit sharing, medical benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation, and development opportunities within a rapidly growing and respected brand. Join us in a unique leadership opportunity that values your expertise and rewards your commitment in a workplace that supports your growth and success.
