Flynn Panera emphasizes a decentralized business model, ensuring strong local leadership through market leaders, area directors, general managers, and assistant managers, which guarantees operational excellence across all locations. The Flynn Group itself has been a major force in the franchise restaurant sector since its founding in 1999, overseeing a diversified portfolio of iconic brands including Applebee's, Arby's, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. This positions Flynn Panera to leverage extensive industry experience and resources in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay ranging from $24.00 to $27.00, complemented by benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company matches, paid time off, paid training, employee discounts, and profit sharing options. Managers at Panera Bread are responsible for leading a team of up to 75 employees, ensuring the smooth operation of the café, and creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional service and high-quality food offerings. The café environment emphasizes artisan breads, soups, salads, specialty espresso beverages, and a clean, grease and alcohol-free work setting, which contributes to a healthy, family-friendly workplace. Working hours follow a 45-hour week with overtime paid at 1.5 times the base rate for five hours per week, appealing especially to morning persons given no late night shifts are required.
In this role, you will take ownership of all aspects of the café's business including planning, staff scheduling, labor management, marketing efforts, facility and bakery operations, and catering services. You will analyze sales and profitability to implement strategies that sustain business growth and ensure financial success. The manager serves as a vital communication link between staff and higher management, playing a key role in recruiting, training, and retaining motivated, skilled team members.
