Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of six months driving experience preferred one year
  • valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for HAZMAT, tanker, and twin trailers with no automatic restrictions
  • at least 21 years old
  • ability to read, comprehend, and write in English
  • ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • ability to handle receipts and driving logs
  • knowledge and compliance with DOT rules and regulations
  • meet DOT physical qualifications
  • pass alcohol and drug tests

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • pick up freight locally
  • transport freight using tractor-trailer vehicles
  • deliver freight to designated locations
  • conduct vehicle inspection and maintenance
  • load and unload cargo safely
  • manage transport documentation including hazardous materials compliance
  • maneuver vehicles in heavy traffic and tight spaces
  • report incidents and delays
  • adhere to safety regulations and company policies
  • provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism
