We are currently seeking an energetic and qualified Auto Body Refinish Prepper to join our dynamic team. This full-time, hourly position offers competitive compensation ranging from $17.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on skill, education, and experience, along with bonus opportunities tied to individual and business performance initiatives. The Auto Body Refinish Prepper plays a critical role in the collision repair process by preparing vehicles to achieve a high-quality refinish repair and restore them to their pre-accident condition. This involves thorough surface preparation such as sanding, masking, priming, and applying coatings including primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats in accordance with insurance guidelines and industry standards.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Surface preparation including sanding and masking
  • Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, colour coats, and clear coats
  • Conduct restoration of anti-corrosion treatments
  • Perform substrate identification and product mixing
  • Evaluate bodywork to ensure quality paint application
  • Follow insurance guidelines and collision repair facility standards
  • Support professional development and training compliance
