Job Description

Yaymaker, originating from the creators of Paint Nite, is a vibrant and innovative company that specializes in hosting locally crafted creative events in over 1,500 cities across North America. This unique entertainment company partners with thousands of entrepreneurs and artists to bring people together in local bars and restaurants to engage in fun, social, and creative experiences. Yaymaker's varied offerings include the Original Paint Nite, Plant Nite, Design-A-Sign, Flower Workshop, and Candle Maker events. These experiences are designed to encourage participants to get out, have fun, and embrace their creativity in a relaxed, social setting.

As an event-driven company, Yaymaker thrives on delivering outstanding customer experiences that combine creativity, entertainment, and social interaction. The events typically last about two hours and are held in casual venues, making it easy for people to join and enjoy time with friends or meet new people in their community. The company's mission centers on inspiring creativity, community involvement, and positivity through interactive and engaging gatherings.

In this role, you will be an Event Host, responsible for leading and energizing both public and private events across the Boston area. This part-time position is much more than teaching; it demands a mix of performance, creativity, and authenticity to truly "wow" guests. As a Yaymaker Host, you embody the brand, facilitating memorable experiences where guests feel welcome and inspired. You’ll serve as the Master of Ceremonies at events, delivering clear instructions and managing the flow of the experience to ensure every participant leaves proud of their artwork or project. This includes working with high priority groups like corporate clients and private fundraisers, requiring professionalism and a dedication to exceptional service.

Your responsibilities also include training new hosts, supporting team operations, and occasionally transporting supplies when you own a vehicle. You’ll work in a fast-paced, creative environment where engaging guests with social media and creating lasting impressions are part of the job. Regular availability is essential, with shifts typically around four hours, including evenings and weekends, plus the requirement for a minimum number of shifts per week. The role is ideal for confident, outgoing individuals who enjoy public speaking and embody a fun and engaging personality.

Yaymaker offers flexible scheduling that fits around your life and encourages growth by cross-training Hosts across their different creative experiences. The company emphasizes community, positivity, and a shared commitment to spreading joy through creativity. This position provides an excellent opportunity to join a progressive, creative company that values inclusivity and equal opportunity. The workplace culture encourages authentic self-expression and teamwork, making it a rewarding part-time role for those passionate about art, entertainment, and human connection.
