- Tech-savvy proficiency in Google Workspace Slack etc.
- Reliable transportation willing to travel up to 20 percent monthly
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending reaching moving and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Agility and stamina to move safely within the studio including tight spaces and stages
- Comfortable working in fast-paced dynamic environments with music and large groups
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Reliable internet connection for remote work
- Quiet professional well-lit remote work environment when needed
- Reliable technology including cell phones and computer or laptop
- Alcohol Safety TIPS certification or willingness to obtain
- ServSafe Manager Certification or willingness to obtain
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Art Business Marketing Finance or related field or equivalent management experience
- 2 plus years of full-time management experience
- Formal training in arts preferred
- Experience in customer-focused environments such as bar or restaurant
- Experience in group art teaching preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace Slack and related technology
- Ability to provide clear artistic instruction
- Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations
Job Duties
- Guarantee the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the store
- Lead and assist in painting sessions providing clear and creative instruction
- Ensure preparation and management of special events
- Oversee kitchen operations maintaining food safety and quality standards
- Drive sales by engaging in superior customer interactions
- Maintain store appearance cleanliness and organization adhering to marketing guidelines
- Participate in business performance reviews and discuss operational matters
- Conduct monthly individual employee touch bases providing developmental feedback
- Track and review employee performance conducting annual reviews
- Update and maintain staff schedules ensuring adequate coverage
- Approve time-off requests coordinating with Regional Manager
- Review and verify weekly team timecards for approval
- Enforce compliance with alcohol service safety and cash handling procedures
- Resolve customer complaints promptly escalating when necessary
- Manage inventory counts orders and process weekly deliveries
- Report facility and maintenance needs submitting tickets to leadership
- Propose ideas for studio improvements to Regional Manager
