The role of Store Manager at Muse Paintbar is vital in managing the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring all processes run smoothly while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.   • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, reach, move, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Agility and stamina to move quickly and safely throughout studio
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environment with music and groups
  • Prolonged sitting and working on computer
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Quiet, professional, and well-lit remote work environment when needed
  • Reliable technology including cell phones and computer/laptop

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in art, business, marketing, finance, or related field or equivalent management experience
  • 2+ years of full-time management experience
  • Formal training in the arts preferred
  • Prior customer-focused experience in bar or restaurant settings
  • Experience in group art teaching preferred
  • Proficient in communication and leadership
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of tools like Google Workspace and Slack
  • Alcohol Safety/TIPS certification (training provided if needed)
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (training provided if needed)

Job Duties

  • Guarantee the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the store
  • Lead and assist in painting sessions, providing clear and creative instruction
  • Ensure preparations and management of special events
  • Oversee and participate in kitchen operations, maintaining food safety standards
  • Drive sales through excellent customer interactions and satisfaction
  • Maintain visual standards, cleanliness, and organization of the store
  • Participate in business performance discussions with Regional Managers
  • Conduct monthly individual employee engagement and feedback sessions
  • Assess and track employee performance, conducting annual reviews
  • Manage and update staff schedules for consistent coverage
  • Review and approve employee time-off requests
  • Supervise and verify team timecards weekly
  • Enforce compliance with alcohol service, safety, and cash handling procedures
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate as needed
  • Manage inventory counts, orders, and weekly deliveries
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and report issues
  • Contribute ideas for studio improvements to management
