Job Description
Muse Paintbar is a premier entertainment venue that combines the joy of artistic creativity with an engaging social atmosphere. Offering a vibrant space where guests can enjoy painting sessions paired with delicious food and beverage options, including a curated beer and wine bar, Muse Paintbar creates an experience unlike any other. The company is deeply committed to fostering a community centered around artistic expression and collaboration, making it a unique destination for both art enthusiasts and those looking for a memorable night out. With a dynamic team that values creativity, collaboration, and growth, Muse Paintbar continually strives to provide exceptional experiences for both its customers and employees.
The role of Art Instructor at Muse Paintbar is integral to the guest experience, acting as both the creative guide and the charismatic host of each painting session. This part-time position, averaging 15-25 hours per week with shifts primarily during evenings and weekends, requires a unique blend of artistic skill and exceptional customer service. As an Art Instructor, you will lead groups of guests step-by-step through the painting process, ensuring that guests are engaged, entertained, and supported throughout the session. Your responsibilities extend beyond instruction to include hosting duties such as greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, overseeing food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming environment that encourages creativity and fun.
This role demands a vibrant personality and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with music and large groups. Proficiency in acrylic painting and at least two years of hands-on painting experience is required, along with a passion for teaching creative skills to others. The Art Instructor also plays a key part in the overall operation of the sessions, including preparation, organization, social media engagement, and post-event cleanup.
Muse Paintbar values flexibility and reliability, requiring the Art Instructor to be available for varied shifts including days, evenings, and weekends, and to have reliable transportation. The role offers an opportunity to be part of a vibrant community where art and social experiences merge, allowing instructors to express their artistic talents while creating joyful memories for guests. Moreover, Muse Paintbar supports professional development by providing certifications such as Alcohol Safety/TIPS and ServSafe if required. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about art, enjoy working in a social environment, and want to contribute to a creative and inclusive community.
