Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must have manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to read and use tape measure and weigh scale
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders
  • Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Proficiency in using tape measures and weigh scales
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Remove finished product from machines
  • Inspect products to ensure quality specifications are met
  • Read work orders for product specifications and packaging instructions
  • Assist in start-up and changeover of machinery or orders
  • Perform all required quality checks regularly
  • Adhere to packaging requirements per production work order
  • Enter production data in JDE and print necessary paperwork
  • Place customer labels neatly on cartons or gaylords
  • Follow AIB Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and safety
  • Complete workplace observations monthly
