The Packaging Machine Operator role at Barilla is integral to the final stages of manufacturing processes within their pasta production facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team dedicated to delivering quality food products that families enjoy every day. Working as a Packaging Machine Operator involves overseeing automated packaging equipment and production lines, ensuring that pasta products are packaged efficiently and meet high-quality standards. Beyond operating machinery, the role demands precision in performing machine set-ups, making adjustments for various products and package sizes, and conducting quality checks on packaging integrity, coding accuracy, and sealing. Attention to detail and adherence to stringent food safety, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and workplace safety protocols are crucial. This role is designed for individuals with mechanical aptitude who thrive in fast-paced production environments and are committed to maintaining cleanliness and organization to support sanitation standards. The Packaging Machine Operator works closely with maintenance, quality assurance, and production teams to optimize line performance and troubleshoot equipment issues when they arise. Barilla offers competitive pay starting at $22.47 per hour with an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for night shifts. The schedule is flexible with a 2/2/3 rotation of 12-hour shifts. Employee benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with up to 6% matching contributions, paid life insurance, tuition reimbursement, wellness reimbursement, and more. This role is ideal for those seeking stability within a globally recognized food company committed to diversity, inclusivity, and equity in its workforce.
