The Packager role at DCR Coffee places you at the heart of the operation, where your contributions directly impact the customer's experience with the brand. This position requires an attention to detail and a hands-on approach to packaging freshly roasted coffee, filling orders precisely to match customer preferences, and ensuring every package meets stringent quality standards. The role is dynamic and involves interacting with various packaging machinery such as weigh-and-fill machines, paddle mixers for flavoring, and industrial grinders. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within your workspace, which contributes to overall product quality and safety. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in packaging or manufacturing preferred
ability to operate packaging machinery including weigh-and-fill machines
physical ability to stand for extended periods
attention to detail
basic understanding of safety and sanitation standards
willingness to assist other departments
ability to operate forklifts

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
experience operating packaging equipment preferred
knowledge of coffee products is a plus
strong attention to detail
ability to work well in a team environment
good organizational skills
ability to follow safety protocols

Job Duties

Label and stage coffee bags for the days production
fill bags with appropriate coffee, using a weigh-and-fill machine
seal and tape (where applicable) filled coffee bags
stage product in its designated area
maintain a clean and safe work environment
assure quality and accuracy of product at all stages of packaging
adhere to Dillanos safety rules and guidelines
grind coffee using small grinders and industrial grinders
flavor coffee using a paddle mixer, as well as bag-flavored coffee using weigh-and-fill
assist other departments as necessary
operate a standup and sit-down forklift
