The role of Packager at DCR Coffee involves the essential responsibility of ensuring that coffee is packaged, filled, and prepared according to strict quality standards and customer specifications. This position emphasizes precision in examining and inspecting materials and products to guarantee that packing specifications are consistently met. Key to this role is the use of packaging processing equipment, which requires the Packager to load materials correctly and maintain organization within their work area, ensuring a clean and safe environment. This job is foundational to the company’s supply chain success, as the quality and appearance of the packaged product directly influence customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

As a Packager, individuals will engage in daily tasks such as labeling and staging coffee bags, utilizing weigh-and-fill and sealing machines, and ensuring products are staged properly in designated areas. The role also demands the use of various grinding machines and paddle mixers for flavoring coffee, reflecting the company’s dedication to diverse and high-quality coffee offerings. Collaboration is encouraged, with opportunities to assist other departments when necessary and to operate forklifts both sit-down and stand-up to facilitate smooth operations. This position requires physical stamina, capable of sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds while adhering to Dillanos’ Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are critical for success, alongside a willingness to learn and embrace feedback for continuous improvement.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly wage of $22.00 and includes a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families.
