Job Description

Smiles 4 Keeps Family Dentistry is a reputable and rapidly expanding dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care, especially focused on the health and well-being of children in the community. Their team-oriented environment prioritizes a positive and respectful workplace where employees can thrive both personally and professionally. The practice prides itself on fostering a fun-loving and compassionate atmosphere, making it an enjoyable place for staff to work and feel part of a caring dental family. Known for their commitment to the community, Smiles 4 Keeps Family Dentistry is not only about excellent dental care but also about creating strong, lasting relationships with patients and their families. As a family-centered dental office, they understand the unique needs of their pediatric patients and work diligently to make every visit a comfortable and supportive experience. Their rapidly growing practice means continuous opportunities for growth, learning, and development within the dental field.

They are currently hiring a Front Desk Dental Receptionist to join their dynamic team. This full-time position is integral to the smooth operation of the dental office as it serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will combine enthusiasm, energy, warmth, and exceptional organizational skills, contributing to the positive and welcoming environment that the practice is known for. The receptionist is responsible for maintaining effective communication with patients by managing appointment scheduling, answer phones with professionalism, and providing outstanding customer service. A person in this role should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in dental front office operations is a plus but not mandatory, as the practice offers a comprehensive training and mentoring program designed to help team members build competence in their responsibilities.

Candidates with a medical background including familiarity with electronic health records and medical billing and coding will find these skills particularly useful in this role. The practice values self-starters who not only excel at verbal and written communication but also thrive as team players. The work involves collaborating effectively with others to ensure seamless patient care and administrative support. This role offers more than just a job—it's the opportunity to join a family-oriented environment where employees are valued and empowered to grow. The position also comes with highly competitive compensation alongside a range of excellent benefits. Employees enjoy low-cost health insurance including medical, dental, and vision coverage, free life and disability insurance, career advancement opportunities with pay increases based on performance, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and retirement plan options including a 401(k) with employer contributions. The schedule varies slightly by location but generally involves weekday hours with some Saturdays on rotation, making it ideal for candidates seeking a stable and rewarding career in dentistry.
