Job Description
B&B Theatres is a well-established company in the entertainment industry, operating a chain of movie theaters dedicated to providing exceptional cinematic experiences to guests. Known for combining state-of-the-art technology, comfortable environments, and friendly service, B&B Theatres has built a reputation as a destination where families and movie lovers can enjoy the magic of films in an inviting setting. As part of its commitment to excellence, the company emphasizes core values such as family, fun, innovation, joy, and integrity, which are reflected in every aspect of its operations. These values underpin the company culture and guide the employee experience, ensuring that everyone involved works towards creating magical, meaningful, and memorable experiences for guests.
This position is for Theatre Staff, a frontline role essential to delivering outstanding customer service within the theater environment. Theatre Staff work behind concession stands and box offices, directly interacting with guests to ensure their visits are enjoyable and seamless. As a Theatre Staff member, you will be responsible not only for fulfilling your designated duties but also for embodying B&B Theatres' core values to contribute positively to both guest experience and team dynamics. The position requires working evenings, weekends, and occasionally holidays, which are some of the busiest times for movie theaters. Flexibility in scheduling is therefore critical to meet operational needs.
Theatre Staff play a multifaceted role encompassing customer service, sales, food handling, sanitation, and general maintenance duties. From greeting guests warmly upon arrival to processing ticket sales and concession transactions, they are at the forefront of creating a welcoming atmosphere. Staff are trained to stay informed about new movie releases and familiarize themselves with concession offerings and pricing, facilitating smooth and efficient service. Maintaining a clean and inviting environment is central to the role, including cleaning auditoriums, restrooms, concession areas, and public spaces. Additionally, Theatre Staff uphold health and safety standards by preparing and handling food according to company policies and local regulations, including obtaining a Food Handler’s Permit if required.
Physical demands of the job include standing, walking, and sitting for long periods, as well as lifting items weighing up to 35 pounds. Employees must demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members alike. Organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently contribute to smooth operations during busy periods. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, guest-focused team in a lively entertainment environment, where each day offers new opportunities to make a difference in the moviegoing experience.
