Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- ISO Category II Certification from an accredited certification provider
- minimum 2 years of vibration monitoring experience
- able to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings
- able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
- valid driver’s license
- ability to read, speak and write English
- basic understanding of Microsoft applications
- working knowledge of SAP
- excellent communication skills
- able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs
- able to walk, bend, stoop
- able to wear personal protective equipment including respirator
- able to respond to visual and audible alarms
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ISO Category II Certification from a accredited certification provider such as Vibration Institute, Mobius, Technical Associates
- at least 2 years of vibration monitoring experience including solving machine problems using vibration analysis
- ability to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and follow mechanical specifications
- valid driver’s license
- ability to read, speak, and write English
- basic understanding of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- good working knowledge of SAP
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- excellent interpersonal skills including ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Vibration data collection and analysis
- timely reporting of vibration analysis findings and recommendations
- provide troubleshooting support and solve equipment problems by evaluating vibration patterns and incorporating other process information such as pressures, temperatures, flows, sound
- maintain vibration database
- support the development of equipment maintenance strategies related to vibration analysis monitoring
- repair shop acceptance testing as needed
- provide call out coverage as needed
- assist with failure analysis of rotating equipment to determine root causes of failure and help determine solutions to prevent recurrence
- provide oversight and mentoring to less experienced millwrights and vibration technicians
