Job Description

Mainsail Lodging & Development is a distinguished hospitality company that operates within the luxury hotel sector, proudly managing the Autograph Collection franchise in the vibrant greater Tampa Bay area. Known for its dedication to exceptional guest experiences, Mainsail seeks to combine classic service excellence with modern comforts to create memorable stays for a diverse clientele. With a reputation for maintaining the highest industry standards, Mainsail continuously strives to foster environments where both guests and team members thrive. As a company, it prides itself on its inclusive culture, equal opportunity employment practices, and commitment to professional growth within a supportive workplace atmosphere.

The Server Assistant role at Mainsail's Autograph Collection properties is a pivotal position designed to enhance the dining experience of every guest. This role is ideal for enthusiastic, fun, and energetic individuals who are passionate about hospitality and excel at providing gracious, professional service in a high-paced setting. Server Assistants are responsible for greeting guests warmly, assisting servers, and ensuring that all food and beverage service aligns meticulously with the Autograph Collection’s rigorous standards. This position requires keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Candidates must be prepared to engage with guests courteously, manage station setups, knowledgeably describe menu items including wines and liquors, and collaborate seamlessly with team members across various hotel locations, such as the Lobby Bar, Pool area, Upstairs Bar, and In-Room Dining services.

Physical stamina is essential due to the demand for standing long hours, potentially in hot conditions, lifting up to 25 pounds, and navigating busy dining environments. Mentally, the role requires sound judgment, multitasking under pressure, and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. This position offers individuals a unique opportunity to grow within a renowned hospitality group while contributing significantly to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Mainsail Lodging & Development is committed to supporting its employees through comprehensive training, a team-oriented workplace culture, and opportunities for upward mobility in the hospitality industry.
