Job Requirements
- CDL-A and 22 plus years old
- Must have your own truck
- 12 months of verifiable experience within the last 5 years
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Military drivers welcome with 3 years of verified military tractor-trailer experience earning 18 months road credit
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Ownership of a reliable truck
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable experience within the last 5 years
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Experience in local and regional freight hauling
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Good communication and coordination skills
Job Duties
- Haul local and regional drayage from major rail ramps and ports
- Operate with a focus on returning home nightly
- Manage drop and hook freight to minimize waiting times
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with operations coordinator
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Manage truck maintenance and operational efficiency
- Build and maintain customer relationships to grow business
