The company has carved a niche in the industry by emphasizing consistent freight volumes, efficient turnarounds, and communication that helps maximize owner-operators' time on the road. As one of the fastest-growing intermodal carriers, STG Drayage is recognized for fostering sustainable growth and delivering value with competitive weekly settlements and industry-leading fuel discounts. Located in Jacksonville, FL, STG Drayage is particularly focused on expanding its network in the Jacksonville and surrounding port and rail markets. Owner-operators in this region can benefit from local and regional drayage runs, drop and hook opportunities, and a chance to be part of a vibrant and supportive transportation community. The company provides an attractive compensation structure, highlighted by a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new owner-operator partners and the benefit of being home nightly, which supports work-life balance.

The role for Owner-Operators at STG Drayage centers on working with intermodal and drayage freight, offering consistent container freight engagements that allow drivers to sustain steady earnings and grow their professional footprint within a trusted network. This opportunity is ideal for those who have at least 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the past five years and who are safety-focused professionals wanting to collaborate with a carrier that values reliability and efficiency. The company values clear and direct communication and provides hands-on support to ensure owner-operators can navigate the specific demands of port and rail freight environments. Whether you are running port containers daily or aiming to expand your intermodal freight operations, STG Drayage offers long-term prospects, competitive compensation, and a growing freight network connecting major ports and rail ramps. This position is tailored to individuals who prefer local and regional runs and are interested in maintaining consistent freight flow with the backing of a highly competent local team.
