Job Requirements
- Possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Own or have access to a truck 2011 or newer
- Trucks must pass a DOT inspection
- Truck engines must meet EPA10 emissions requirements
- Trucks must have a functioning Collision Mitigation System
- Willingness to comply with Schneider’s operational standards
Job Qualifications
- Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Ability to operate trucks 2011 or newer with necessary safety and emissions equipment
- Familiarity with DOT inspection processes and compliance
- Strong self-management skills for dispatch and load selection
- Ability to adapt to Schneider’s technology and tools
Job Duties
- Select preferred loads from a diverse range of contract and spot market options
- Manage all aspects of self-dispatch including home time, lanes, and revenue choices
- Haul dry van trailers with 90 percent drop-and-hook freight efficiently
- Utilize provided Samsung tablet and tools for planning and booking loads
- Comply with Schneider’s operational guidelines and safety requirements
- Maintain truck compliance including passing DOT inspections and EPA10 emissions standards
- Collaborate with Schneider’s support for orientation and ongoing business needs
