Job Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Truck must be 2011 or newer
- Truck must pass DOT inspection
- Engine must meet EPA10 emissions requirements
- Truck must have a functioning Collision Mitigation System
- Additional qualifications as required
- Ability to operate under Schneider’s authority
Job Qualifications
- Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Ability to manage independent trucking operations
- Knowledge of freight dispatch and load planning
- Familiarity with truck and trailer maintenance requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards
Job Duties
- Select loads with all-in rate or percent of revenue options
- Pick your loads, home time, lanes and revenue
- Haul dry van trailers with 90 percent drop-and-hook freight at no charge
- Use advanced tools including Samsung tablets for planning and booking
- Maintain compliance with truck specifications and safety standards
- Utilize Schneider’s company facilities and resources
- Manage trucking business under Schneider’s authority
