Job Requirements
- Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Truck(s) must be 2011 or newer
- Truck(s) need to pass a DOT inspection
- Engine(s) must meet EPA10 emissions requirements
- Truck(s) need a functioning Collision Mitigation System
- Willingness to comply with Schneider policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Experience with dry van trailers preferred
- Ability to operate trucks meeting 2011 or newer model requirements
- Familiarity with DOT inspections and EPA10 emission standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Additional qualifications as required by Schneider
Job Duties
- Select and dispatch loads independently
- Haul dry van trailers with drop-and-hook freight
- Utilize provided technology for planning and booking
- Maintain compliance with safety and vehicle standards
- Manage schedules to optimize home time and revenue
- Participate in orientation and training programs
- Communicate effectively with Schneider support and clients
