Job Requirements
- CDL A license required
- willingness to work on the road
- ability to operate under contract
- valid driver’s license
- physical ability to perform trucking duties
- basic mechanical knowledge preferred
- availability to start promptly
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license
- proven experience as an owner operator or commercial truck driver
- strong knowledge of road safety and transportation regulations
- ability to plan and manage own routes
- good communication and organizational skills
- familiarity with logistics and load booking platforms
- ability to maintain vehicle maintenance and compliance
Job Duties
- Plan your own routes
- book your own loads
- run under J.B. Hunt motor carrier authority
- utilize the new and improved load board
- maintain compliance with safety and legal standards
- manage own schedule and business operations
- communicate effectively with J.B. Hunt dispatch and support teams
