Job Description
Saddle Creek Logistics Services is a renowned logistics and transportation company dedicated to providing efficient and reliable supply chain solutions. Known for its commitment to safety, professionalism, and community impact, Saddle Creek has established itself as a stable and fast-growing employer within the logistics industry. The company prides itself on hiring highly qualified and experienced drivers, recognizing that their workforce is the core of the business’s ongoing success.
Operating across multiple states with a focus on delivering essential services, Saddle Creek offers a family-like work environment that supports drivers with resources such as provided trailers and operating authority. The company also places a strong emphasis on safety, rewarding drivers for their excellence through various bonus programs. In addition to drivers, Saddle Creek offers diverse employment opportunities including warehouse associates, transportation support, and corporate positions, making it a well-rounded logistics service provider for those looking to build a career in the industry.
The Owner Operator role at Saddle Creek Logistics Services invites professional drivers seeking stability, competitive earning potential, and work-life balance. This position involves operating sleeper trucks primarily on drop and hook runs with home daily schedules and occasional overnight runs to neighboring states such as Georgia or Texas. Drivers benefit from 100% no-touch freight handling, allowing them to focus on driving while minimizing physical load and unload responsibilities. The role generates approximately $2,800 gross revenues weekly for owner operators, providing a solid income opportunity supported by a structured weekly schedule of Monday through Friday.
Saddle Creek provides all trailers for owner operators and offers both safety and retention bonuses as part of the compensation package, enhancing the overall benefits of joining the team. This role requires drivers to have a valid Class A CDL, a current DOT medical card, and a minimum of 12 months driving experience within the last five years. Additionally, owner operators must have their own base plate and International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) decal. Safety, adherence to DOT regulations, and excellent customer service are key expectations for the role, as drivers represent the company on the road and at delivery points.
Joining Saddle Creek Logistics Services as an Owner Operator means becoming part of a company that values professionalism, safety, and community impact. Drivers receive hands-on support and are encouraged to maintain high standards in all aspects of their work, from vehicle inspections to customer interactions. This opportunity is ideal for experienced drivers who desire a predictable schedule, competitive pay, and the backing of a reputable and growing logistics firm committed to long-term success and driver satisfaction.
