With a focus on creating strong partnerships with owner-operators, the company emphasizes consistent freight availability, competitive pay rates, and a supportive local team that understands the complexities of port and rail operations. STG Drayage is committed to fostering long-term relationships by offering flexible and profitable opportunities for independent drivers within the Dallas area and surrounding regions.

The role of an Owner-Operator at STG Drayage is crafted specifically for experienced drivers who seek consistent intermodal and drayage freight work, coupled with the benefits of staying close to home every night. Drivers will have the opportunity to engage in local and regional drayage runs that involve handling container freight at ports and rail ramps. The company ensures efficient freight turns, competitive weekly settlements, drop and hook opportunities, and access to industry-leading fuel discounts. STG Drayage also maintains an expanding freight network across major ports and rail terminals, promising owner-operators steady volume and the chance to grow their business under a trusted banner.

Owner-Operators joining STG Drayage benefit from a platform that prioritizes their time and earnings, supported by a local team dedicated to smooth communication and operational efficiency. The company values safety and professionalism, and drivers are encouraged to bring their best practices to the table to ensure quality service and client satisfaction. This role is ideal for those with at least one year of tractor-trailer experience within the last five years, and military driving experience may also be considered for meeting these requirements. STG Drayage invites owner-operators who want to capitalize on their skills and resources to connect with a reliable carrier that offers both stability and growth potential in the intermodal freight industry.
