Job Description

Valet Living is a well-established and respected company specializing in providing community enhancement services, primarily focused on keeping apartment complexes clean, safe, and inviting for residents. As a company committed to fostering community well-being and cleanliness, Valet Living offers a range of services designed to maintain high standards in residential environments. With over a decade of expert experience, this company is recognized for its innovative approaches to property services, incorporating technology and a highly motivated workforce to meet the demands of modern apartment living. Valet Living is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity, inclusivity, and respect in the workplace, ensuring that every employee is treated with dignity regardless of race, religion, gender, or other legally protected characteristics.

Currently, Valet Living is seeking part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals looking for a physically engaging job that allows them to stay active while earning extra income during evening hours. The main responsibility involves collecting trash and recycling bags left by residents on their doorsteps within the apartment community and transporting these to the on-site trash compactor. This position uniquely requires the use of a personal, reliable open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer, making it essential for candidates to have their own transportation. This eliminates the need for the company to provide vehicles, allowing for flexible, localized assignments near the employees' homes where possible.

The Trash Collector role is hands-on and physically demanding, involving walking long distances and climbing stairs multiple times per shift in various weather conditions such as rain or heat. Importantly, there is no heavy lifting or bulk item disposal required, and employees do not have to drive off-site or dump waste themselves. All service tracking and documentation are facilitated by a mobile app that employees use to log arrival and departure times, track routes, and upload photos to ensure compliance and service quality. This organizational support system helps maintain efficient operations while supporting worker safety and transparency.

Working with Valet Living as a Service Valet provides a unique opportunity to maintain a community-focused job with several attractive benefits. The pay starts competitively at $17 per hour, with work schedules typically from Sunday to Thursday, beginning in the evenings at 7:00 or 8:00 PM. Weekly hours range from 10 to 15 or more, making this a perfect part-time job for those balancing other commitments or seeking supplemental income. Beyond compensation, employees have access to DailyPay, allowing for rapid payout of earnings, and are provided with necessary safety gear such as gloves and reflective vests to ensure a secure work environment.

The company strongly encourages applicants who demonstrate reliability, enjoy active work, and possess the necessary transportation and smartphone technology to utilize the mobile app effectively. There are also opportunities for career progression within Valet Living, including leadership roles and referral bonuses for bringing in new team members. With a focus on safety, respect, and community impact, Valet Living presents an employment opportunity that not only provides financial rewards but also supports a sense of contribution and growth.
