The Department Manager leads, develops, and supports their team by cultivating strong relationships and offering continuous feedback and growth opportunities. They are responsible for championing product quality by enforcing stringent food safety standards, ensuring cold chain compliance, and maintaining product freshness. Job Requirements
- 3 or more years of leadership experience managing a large team
- Ability to manage a team within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Experience managing inventory
- Highly organized and process-drive
- Systems aptitude, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment, including use of ordering systems
- Knowledge of food safety procedures
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain management or related field
