The shift offered for this position is the overnight shift on Monday and Tuesday with the possibility of additional on-call shifts throughout the week. As a Guest Service Associate, responsibilities extend beyond just vehicle handling to include assisting guests with luggage, providing local information and directions, and enhancing the overall guest experience through professionalism and attentiveness. This position requires an individual who can maintain a friendly and pleasant demeanor at all times while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The role also demands safety awareness given the physical and outdoor nature of the job, which includes meeting the physical requirements to lift varying weights and work in different weather conditions.
Working at Towne Park offers employees several benefits such as eligibility for accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and enrollment in a 401k retirement savings plan. The availability of these benefits depends on the employee's classification, length of employment, and number of hours worked. It is important to note that seasonal and temporary employees are not eligible for these benefits. Moreover, this job involves routine tasks guided by established procedures and places high value on clear communication and accuracy to ensure smooth operations. It also affords limited decision-making within specific operational instructions and immediate supervisory guidance.
Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid driver’s license, and have at least one month of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills essential for success in this role include the ability to read and write standard English, comprehend simple instructions, effectively present information, and perform basic arithmetic operations related to handling money. The ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle and perform parallel parking is highly desirable. Physical endurance and resilience are important due to the outdoor working conditions and physical lifting demands.
