The role of Overnight Valet Parking Attendant at Reimagined Parking is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of valet services during nighttime hours. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the valet attendant is responsible for the safe, prompt, and courteous handling of guest vehicles, including parking, retrieval, and maintenance of vehicle records. Key responsibilities include greeting guests upon arrival, issuing tickets, recording vehicle and customer information through electronic or manual systems, and ensuring the security and safety of all vehicles handled. The attendant must conduct thorough inspections for pre-existing damage, assist guests with loading and unloading belongings, and maintain fleet movement efficiently to optimize space and service delivery. Safety is paramount, requiring the attendant to manage traffic flow and coordinate emergency responses when necessary. The position requires physical stamina, as the attendant will walk or run between the valet stand and customer vehicles for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. It also demands excellent driving skills, including the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift), with a clean driving record and valid license mandatory for employment. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving records
  • Must successfully pass a background check in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility
  • Ability to operate guest vehicles requiring normal coordination including eye-hand and hand-foot
  • Ability to move from valet stand to customer cars by walking or running for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally lift and carry customer luggage or personal items up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the full valet service process from arrival to departure including greeting guests retrieving keys issuing tickets and entering customer information
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently ensuring proper vehicle placement and accurate tracking of vehicle location
  • Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage and document findings using electronic or manual ticketing systems
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport responding promptly to inquiries and providing directions or assistance as needed
  • Act as a professional brand ambassador by courteously interacting with guests opening vehicle doors and assisting with unloading and loading personal items
  • Maintain vehicle safety and security by directing traffic positioning barricades monitoring ramp or drive areas and arranging towing services when required
  • Request collect and accurately process applicable valet fees assist with reconciling end-of-shift revenue and ticket distribution
  • Retrieve vehicles promptly for waiting guests and assist with luggage or personal items when necessary
  • Immediately report incidents accidents or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with guests clients supervisors and teammates at all times
