Job Description
HHM Hotels is a distinguished hospitality group known for providing exceptional guest experiences across its portfolio of upscale hotels. One of its premier properties near Sacramento's Land Park neighborhood offers guests a harmonious blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. Located just 2.6 miles from Sacramento Executive Airport and 11 miles from Sacramento International Airport, the hotel enjoys a tranquil setting while being in proximity to popular attractions such as Old Sacramento, the Sacramento Zoo, and Sacramento City College. This ideal location makes it a sought-after destination for both business and leisure travelers.
The hotel boasts spacious rooms and suites outfitted with luxurious bedding and elegant bathrooms aimed at delivering maximum comfort. Guests can indulge in exquisite dining at the on-site seafood restaurant. Wellness and relaxation are prioritized through services like an award-winning full-service spa and a 24-hour fitness center equipped with cardio machines and free weights. Additional amenities include a pool and riverside lounging areas complemented by local wines, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. For hosts and event planners, stylish event spaces are available to create memorable occasions.
The Overnight Valet Parker role at this upscale hotel is a key position focused on delivering outstanding guest service with a keen emphasis on safety and efficiency. The valet is entrusted with greeting guests warmly upon arrival and departure, parking vehicles proficiently, and ensuring that guests’ cars are retrieved promptly and with care. This position plays a crucial role in shaping first and last impressions, embodying the hotel’s values of "People Are Our Capability," "Hearts That Serve," "Only Excellence," "Stay Nimble," and "Own It."
This role demands physical stamina and attentiveness, as responsibilities include moving luggage and packages that can weigh up to 75 pounds, reading luggage tags accurately, and adhering to safety standards including MSDS and OSHA protocols. Given the work requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting, bending, and crouching, candidates must be prepared for the physical nature of this role. The varied schedule includes holidays and weekends, reflecting the hospitality industry's dynamic pace.
Beyond the immediate duties, the Overnight Valet Parker position offers a foundational career pathway into other hospitality positions such as Guest Service Agent, Bell Captain, and eventually Guest Service Manager. This opportunity is ideal for individuals motivated by guest interaction and eager to progress within the hotel industry.
HHM Hotels is committed to equal opportunity employment, fostering an inclusive workplace free of discrimination based on race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, and other legally protected statuses. Candidates looking to join a dedicated, guest-focused team in a thriving hotel environment will find this role a promising opportunity balanced with great benefits and career growth potential.
