The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is pivotal in ensuring that guests have a welcoming and smooth experience. Seasonal and temporary employees are not eligible for these benefits. This position suits candidates who possess a high school diploma or GED, hold a valid driver's license for their state or a nearby commutable area, and have at least one month of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of customer service principles and excellent communication skills are vital. Candidates should be able to read and write standard English, comprehend simple instructions and correspondence, and perform basic arithmetic operations involving American currency and time formats. The ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle and park in tight spaces is highly desirable. Physical demands include frequent sitting or standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds, often in outdoor conditions that vary with the weather. The role may require up to 5% travel.

- Ability to understand 24 hour time
- Ability to follow established operational procedures
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work overnight 11 pm to 7 am shift

Job Qualifications

- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers

- Ability to perform operations using American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a friendly demeanor
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved places
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue when needed
