This position involves providing exceptional hospitality services by greeting guests warmly, assisting with parking and retrieving vehicles safely, and offering additional support such as luggage assistance and shuttle services. The associate serves as the face of Towne Park to guests and plays a vital role in delivering courteous, prompt, and professional service. Responsibilities include managing guest inquiries about the facility, providing directions, handling reservations, and processing parking transactions accurately. The role demands a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as moving luggage and operating motor vehicles under various weather conditions.\n\nWorking as a Guest Service Associate requires excellent communication skills, physical stamina, and attention to safety protocols to ensure both guest and vehicle safety. The position is part-time and currently offers an hourly base pay of $22. The work schedule for this role is Sunday and Monday from 10 PM to 6 AM, highlighting the need for candidates who can commit to these hours. Job Requirements

  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently and 20 pounds constantly
  • Must be able to work the schedule Sun & Mon 10p-6a
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to interact professionally with guests and co-workers
  • Willingness to follow established procedures and safety guidelines
  • Ability to perform duties with reasonable accommodations if needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when required
