The role requires safely parking and retrieving guests' vehicles while diligently monitoring the parking area to maintain security. As the overnight representative of the hotel, the valet attendant must exhibit professionalism, poise, and a keen eye for detail, significantly impacting guests' late-night arrivals and departures. Maintaining an organized and clean valet station that meets the professionalism expected by hotels is also an integral part of this role. Additionally, precise timekeeping and gratuity recording in compliance with company policy is required to support operational accuracy and payroll.
Candidates joining PMC are expected to arrive punctually, dressed in full uniform, and comply with all hotel policies and safety guidelines. Being able to support team members and assist with additional tasks ensures smooth overnight operations and fosters a collaborative environment that elevates overall service quality. Prior customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory, as PMC values a positive attitude and a strong commitment to providing excellent guest experience.
PMC is an equal opportunity employer and embraces diversity and inclusion in its workforce. Employment is at-will, and the company complies fully with all wage, hour, and leave laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay. PMC also offers various benefits to eligible employees, such as medical, vision, and dental insurance; 401(k) plans; life and critical illness supplemental insurance; bonuses; ongoing training and leadership development programs; and tuition assistance. They are committed to fostering growth and providing employees multiple nationwide opportunities to advance their careers.
