Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English

  • Ability to operate vehicles safely including manual transmission and parallel parking
  • Physical capability to perform demanding tasks
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of work or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
  • Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Understanding of time-based parking rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and perform parallel parking is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using guest last names during interactions
  • Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests
  • Practices proper phone etiquette
  • Posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Delivers messages, items and guest amenities
  • Shuttles guests to approved locations
  • Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issues claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks before issuing keys
  • Completes and maintains all ticket information including key tags, damage surveys, guest folios and claim check receipts
  • Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
