Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the working state or within commutable distance
- One month of related experience or training
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions
- Ability to perform basic math with money
- Ability to understand 24-hour time and rate calculations
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand or walk for long periods
- Willingness to work overnight shifts from 11 pm to 7 am
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather
- Ability to perform parallel parking and safely operate vehicles
- Ability to provide friendly and professional guest service consistently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the applicable state or a commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal services principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively to guests and co-workers
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand time-based rate calculations
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a friendly and professional manner
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper phone etiquette as per Towne Park standards
- Post in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxi arrangements, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures on arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete all ticket information accurately including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect parking revenue as needed
