The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is vital in delivering a five-star hospitality experience to every guest. This position is primarily responsible for safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, providing bell services such as luggage assistance, and delivering courteous and professional service throughout the guests' arrival and departure process. Working Monday through Sunday, with an hourly wage beginning at $21.50 plus tips and an overnight shift differential, the associate serves as the face of the company, greeting guests warmly, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring smooth and efficient parking operations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal services principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Basic math skills including money calculations
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time
- Capability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications

- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and perform basic money operations
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to appropriate places that are approved by the location
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt for all vehicles taken into the valet system
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
