Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver's license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to provide excellent customer and personal services
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations with American currency
  • Ability to understand and apply 24-hour and military time
  • Ability to perform safe driving, including parallel parking
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and in outdoor environmental conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English including simple instructions and correspondence
  • Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with American money
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly and professional guest greetings using proper salutations and guest last names
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and promptly while driving cautiously
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, bell services, and luggage storage as needed including delivery and pick-up
  • Provide guests with information about the facility's amenities, local attractions, and services such as taxis and reservations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures including issuing claim checks upon receipt of keys
  • Maintain accurate records including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect parking fees when necessary
  • Consistently follow established operational procedures and departmental guidelines
