The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is both dynamic and rewarding, centered around providing attentive, friendly, and efficient hospitality services to guests. This position involves parking and retrieving vehicles safely, assisting guests with luggage, and offering helpful information about the location and local amenities. The Guest Service Associate plays a critical role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth operations in guest handling. Those in this role work night shifts (11 PM to 7 AM) and receive competitive hourly pay that includes base pay, shift differentials, and tips. Employees may also have the opportunity to enroll in benefits such as various insurance plans and a 401k retirement plan, subject to eligibility criteria. The position requires excellent customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety and courtesy at all times. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively to individuals and groups
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with American money
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time
  • Understanding of applicable rate calculations
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and employees
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities of the facility and main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved places
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
