The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is a vital position focused on providing attentive, friendly, and efficient hospitality services to guests. This role involves parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and promptly while assisting with luggage handling during arrivals and departures. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Understanding of rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests and coworkers
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable rates for time
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxi services, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about local attractions and amenities
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks securely
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately
  • Calculate and collect revenue as needed
