Job Duties
- Greet and accompany guests to their rooms
- open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property
- inform guests about property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local attractions
- identify and explain room features such as key use, minibar, ice areas, vending machines, room safe, and laundry services
- carry guests' luggage to and from rooms or designated bell areas
- help store and retrieve luggage
- assist guests and visitors entering and exiting vehicles including loading and unloading luggage
- provide guests with directions to their destinations
- arrange transportation such as taxis or shuttle services and note transportation requests in advance
- communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance
- ensure privacy of company information and protect company property
- support coworkers with dignity and respect
- assist the team in achieving common goals
- meet quality assurance standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- assist in moving objects over 75 pounds
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- move at required speeds to respond to work situations
- read and visually verify information in various formats
- reach above head and below knees including crouching, twisting, dragging, and bending
- navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
- welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally with others including phone etiquette
- stay alert for potentially objectionable persons on property
- carry out other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors
